Power for the electric unit comes from a lithium ion battery back with a maximum output of 22kW, which can be recharged via the fuel cell or through regenerative braking. Together these systems help move the HyMotion from 0 to 60 in 14 seconds with a top speed of 93 mph, while emitting nothing more than water vapor.
